The Blankenships first moved to the Highland Lakes in 1983 and built their family’s home on the shores of beautiful Lake Buchanan. Their tremendous knowledge of this area comes from twenty-two years of community involvement and enjoyment of the beautiful hill country and the Highland Lakes. Through these past twenty-two years, Joan and her husband, Mark, have been heavily involved in the local real estate market both for their customers and for their own companies. In fact, they have a long history of Real Estate Sales and Property Management in the Highland Lakes area. Mark and Joan Blankenship created TJM Properties, LP and TJM Investments, LP in order to acquire residential, commercial and self-storage rental property of their own. Years of searching, evaluating, negotiating, developing, re-zoning, financing and managing their own properties has armed them with invaluable knowledge about the real estate market in the Highland Lakes. In addition, their extensive community involvement gives them insights into what is happening in the local communities and whom you need to go to in order to get things done. The same professional service provided by TJM Properties and TJM Investments is now available to other investors through our real estate company, TJM Realty Group.
